A Quiet, Comfortable, Kind, Mindful, and Safe Environment
Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice designed to calm the nervous system and create overall health in the body. It is a practice that helps reconnect the body with the mind while focusing on effortlessness and ease using props such as bolsters, pillows, and blankets. Many restorative poses are similar to traditional postures with the support of these well-placed props. When the body is fully supported, it will naturally relax, releasing deeply help tensions.
Practicing Restorative Yoga also gives the opportunity to bring the awareness inward. Too often our days are filled with stress and other outer distractions causing us to build up anxieties and tensions in the body. This practice will provide you with an opportunity to take some time out of your busy day to relax, reconnect, and restore the body and mind.
