Pain and Addiction Clinic Opens at the Center

The Center for Spirituality and Healing and John Sprader, licensed acupuncturist, have opened a pain and addictions clinic in downtown Fond du Lac.

Acupuncture and Pain:

Most people experience significant pain at some time in their lives--whether from injury, illness, or an unknown cause.  Pain is a warning signal, an alarm that goes off when your body is trying to tell you that something is wrong and out of balance.

Often, people suffering from pain try to cover it up, either by ignoring the pain or taking medication.  However treated this way, the source of the pain will never completely go away.  It’s like hitting the snooze button on an alarm.  Unless the cause of the pain is treated, your body will keep sounding the alarm and remind you that something is still wrong.  Eventually the pain may get worse or become chronic.

Clinic information:

The clinic is open on Tuesdays at the Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality and Healing, 74 South Main Street, Suite 301, from 8 am to 8 pm.  The first visit involves a free health history and a short consultation with the acupuncturist, John Sprader, Dpl.Ac.  The treatments usually take 15 to 20 minutes and cost $65.  A sliding fee is available for anyone who needs it, so as to make these services available to all who need them. 

No one will be turned away.  Most patients usually leave with at least one form of ongoing auricular (ear) treatment.  This will allow your care to continue while you are at home.  Call 921-9404 now for your appointment!
